Tour de France 2008 - Stage 9

Ricco slithers up for another stage in this year's Tour. And I don't mean that as bad as it sounds. The little Cobra was pretty impressive to watch dart off the front of the field and just pedal his legs off to the finish line. More exciting for me of course was watching C up in the lead group - all day! Man is he hot right now. I am so thrilled and excited watching him with the confidence he has. It just looks great on him. I've been a fan for a long time and to get to see him continue to get better and better is totally delightful! :-) Woo hoo! Go C!

On a worrisome note, Cadel Evans crashed hard earlier on in the stage. There are tons of pics of him at the doctors car and his sides and jersey were pretty ripped up. I'm hoping he's okay and that he is good to go come morning. I don't want him to win but I don't want to lose riders from crashes either. Have I said yet, how much I hate those damn things. Crashes suck. I hope he is okay come morning.

Did you see stage 10? Holy wow. I won't say anything just in case. I followed the text and TdF twitter all morning while working along. Anyway. Back to the job.

Hi Erik!!!
DID I SEE IT?!? OMG! GO C! I am so super excited for him. I was the edge of my seat hoping he could put in an attack in that last k but then Cadel grabbed his wheel. So exciting!

I'm hoping to get my post up this afternoon. I'm having some complications today from last week and have a dr's appt to get to and I'm just praying it's something simple and won't require another stay.

Today's stage was just awesome! Feel free to email anytime. :-) If you like live feed chatter, check out PdC! Today we had 4 threads were were commentating so much!
