Dauphine Libere - Stage 2

Whoo hoo!!! George won the stage today! I'm so happy for him. And with the little #2 on the way, hopefully the win didn't send Mel into labor! Although I've heard she is very ready to have it so maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing! :-) The feed was bad today after being great yesterday. A wee bit frustrating but the on demand was perfect tonight so I watched it again. Greipel was supposed to be the guy but had a flat tire. So they radio'd up to George and told him he was free to go. I'm not sure when that happened but my guess is just before you see George come flying up out of the peloton and soaring up into the two man break. The last 11K of the race was awesome with attacks and some great racing!

After being bogged down with work, I think I've finally gotten caught back up with cycling again. Make sure to go back to the Philly post as I've updated that with rider blogs and I found Broadband Racer videos! I so love it when we get those treats with Frankie!
