Tour de Suisse - Stage 5

What a stage today! Work is pretty busy this week so I'm listening way more than watching which is okay for the most part. Then today I clicked over to see Frank and Fothen up in the lead and minutes later I watch as Frank goes over the guard rail! I am usually pretty good about not swearing but on our live thready today the F bomb came out of my fingers faster than I could even say it watching. OMG. I was very relieved to see him back up from the ravine below and getting back on a bike and then finishing the stage. So far, nothing is broken, and other than some major bruising going on, the man seems to be okay.

Frank has had some issues with bike handling in the past and he's not known as a great descender but wow. Would not have expected to see that. I'm pretty sure he probably would've won the stage but I am ever so happy to see him okay and finishing. Scary, very scary stuff.

Make sure to check out tomorrow's stage if you can. It should be another good one. (Hopefully no scary fall this time.)
